A Christmas Carol - The Concert premiered at the Baltimore Symphony on December 16th and 17th, 2011. The cast featured Merwin Foard as Scrooge, Scott Coulter as Cratchit/Fred/Young Scrooge, Kyle Scatliffe as Marley/Ghost of Past/Ghost of Present and John McDonough as the Narrator. It was conducted by Amy Duran and also featured the Baltimore City College Choir under the direction of Linda Hall. During the final song, "God Bless Us Everyone", the audience leapt to their feet to clap along and continued to show their enthusiasm by giving a standing ovation! What a thrilling premiere! A CHRISTMAS CAROL - THE CONCERT is the classic Dickens tale performed as a concert with full symphony orchestra, a rock/pop rhythm section, choir, a narrator and three soloists. Composer Bob Christianson and lyricist Alisa Hauser have created an original score with musical styles that range from classical and broadway to blues and gospel. Hear this classic ghost story as you've never heard it before!
